Dream Riders at MCCD is a Not-for-Profit facility dedicated to advocate services to benefit the whole family in a friendly farm environment. Our Team provides therapy for children and adults to address physical, sensory, and social concerns, using a variety of treatments and therapeutic methods.  Some programs offered at the Center include Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy, Equine Assisted Therapy, Therapeutic Riding, and Riding Lessons. Our staff and volunteers are committed to give the support needed to maximize each individual’s results and help them achieve their goals. Licensed therapists administer and manage each therapy session, using a diverse range of therapeutic tools selected based on the needs of the individual.

Equine Assisted Therapy and Therapeutic Riding and Horsemanship are strategies used in our treatment plans. The horse is a very powerful and important approach when used in conjunction with other therapy equipment and practices; which accelerate the gains and provide superior outcome for the participant.

Many medical conditions can benefit from the therapy and programs provided at Dream Riders at MCCD, including, but not limited to: Autistic Spectrum Disorder • Developmental Delay • Hypotonia • Speech/Language Disorder • Cerebral Palsy • Genetic Syndromes • Sensory Integration Disorder • Spina Bifida • Traumatic Brain Injury

The Center is a Member of PATH International (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship).  The farm is set on 17-acres with mature trees, beautiful perennial gardens and open pastures.  A 13,000 sq.-ft. heated arena allows us to provide Equine Assisted Therapy services and riding programs year round. The relaxed location provides opportunities for learning and growth in a peaceful environment. Families find the tranquil atmosphere a great place to exchange experiences and ideas with other families, build support networks and even develop new friendships.
